Azerbaijan and Turkey discussed creation of a laboratory of bioequivalence of pharmaceuticals

Baku, Fineko/ Health minister Ogtay Shiraliyev of Azerbaijan has received a delegation led by Musa Kulaklikay, the head of the Turkish Agency for Co-operation & Development (TIKA).

The Ministry of Health informs that in the meeting the sides covered current reforms in Azerbaijani public health sector, prospects of co-operation in the area of health service and medical sciences between the two countries.

“The minister mentioned technical assistance in the project of construction of the Centre of Bone-Marrow Transplantation & Thalassemia and pointed out that one of the project main components are hemoglobinopathy treatment advancement courses for Azerbaijani specialists in Turkey,” it was informed.

The meeting parties also covered a project of creation of a laboratory on bioequivalence of pharmaceuticals.
